I am a volunteer ESL instructor. The more Spanish I learn, the better I can explain lessons to my student and their family, and the better I can communicate generally with them as a friend.

I felt like the spanish class was just memorizing sentences instead of learning spanish. It is lucky that I had taken three years of spanish in high school becuase it helped me with the foundation, but I think that a person who has never learned spanish would have been lost.

This course has really help me with communication. I am sitting in student staffing meetings with Spanish speaking students and parents. I am so happy with the results

This class is all I was looking for. My only suggestion is you might offer a way to members so that they may practice away from the computer.

I am using the vocabulary in the classroom and am able to conduct conferences more confidently without a translator. It has also increased my ability to understand what my students are saying and communicate with them one on one easier. Over the break I have been continuing the course on the lessons I did not get to during the school year. I have also been practicing on my own children who have taken 5 years of Spanish in school. Thank you for putting this course together.
